About 9073 Knightrix
Our story
Our team started in 2014 at Chantilly High School with 8 members; 5 freshman, 1 sophomore, and 2 juniors. We had one member with previous robotics experience and relied heavily on our mentors to teach the other members. In each of our first two years, we participated in one qualifier event at Battlefield HS, were selected to play in the elimination rounds, but did not advance to the State Championships.

Despite some rocky beginnings, in 2016-17, our team not only advanced to states, but also made it to Super Regionals. This gave our team morale and more exposure in our STEM and Chantilly community, therefore giving us a drive to work harder and better for next year.

In 2017-18 with 14 hardworking and passionate members, 9073 Knightrix has thus far improved upon our outreach and developed our hardware and software. Not only connecting us to the Chantilly pyramid, but bringing us closer to the STEM and FIRST communities as well.
